Dr. Robert Barton is a North Carolina native with a strong foundation in both general dentistry and endodontics. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
During dental school, Dr. Barton was actively involved in volunteering, organized dentistry, and leadership roles, experiences that helped shape his approach to patient care and service.
After graduation, Dr. Barton returned to his hometown, where he practiced as a general dentist for four years. During this time, he developed a strong interest in endodontics and root canal treatment, which led him to pursue advanced specialty training. He went on to complete his specialty training in endodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Barton is known for his patient-focused approach and clear communication with both patients and referring providers. He is committed to delivering precise, efficient care in a calm and supportive environment.
Outside the office, Dr. Barton enjoys exploring the local food scene and spending time outdoors at area parks and trails with his schnauzer mix, Blue.
